We're told that the universe is expanding...what is it expanding into? We're told that the spaces in between space is filled with "something"...what is it? We're told this and much more - we're given mathematics as its description...who decided the problem is formulaic? What if the question and the answer are spiritual?
If we were shown scientifically that God exists, wouldn't we be "all about God?" So if we claim to have faith, yet live as if God is not in a direct relationship with us - what is wrong with us?
